Next Upcoming event is hidden from list

We are having an issue with our upcoming events list. All events are showing except for the the next even occurring. This is happening with recurring events and regular events. When we change the date of an event showing to make it the next event in line it disappears and the event that wasn’t showing appears. When you activate the AJAX load by any of the methods (next previous links, show all recurring events, etc) ALL events show.

We have slightly modified the core code so we could pull venues from an existing Post Type. I have seen this issue before on another site using this plugin without the modified code, so I am confident this is not the issue.

Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

I’m sorry you’re experiencing difficulties, what an odd issue.

Can you provide more details on what the customixations to our plugin code involved? I do also see you noted having tested without any other plugins running and only a default theme in place: can you confirm that did not highlight any other issues (and were you able to remove your customizations at the same time)?

Last but not least it looks like you are a few versions behind our own releases: please understand that many fixes and improvements are made with each release, so it’s not impossible you are hitting up against a bug that has subsequently been resolved.

We got this fixed by doing a custom WP_Query on the events list content.php (global WP_Query var passed to loop.php).
