ParticipantHi there,
The events calendar was working perfectly on a site I had developed, but only recently stopped working as it should. I cannot figure out the culprit, but no longer does the date picker or the ‘View As’ work in the event search, nor the date picker in the Mini Cal widgit, nor the ‘previous’ and ‘next’ links.
This is the page the calendar is sitting on:
http://www.salarts.org.au/whats-on/I did try using the Debug mode with The Debug Bar plugin, and it was showing red on any pages generated by The Event Calendar, but I could not see the errors – presumably a side effect of whatever issue is causing The Event Calendar to not work either.
Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,

MemberHi Damien,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I visited the site, but it has a password protection on it.
It sounds like a javascript error is causing the issues if all those things are broken.
Are you able to check your browser’s developer console and see if any errors show in the console there?
Let me know.
Thanks

ParticipantThanks for the speedy reply Brian.
I’m not sure what you mean by password protected. The site should be viewable publicly.
There is this error in the tribe-events-pro-min.js:
Uncaught ReferenceError: debug is not defined

MemberSo When I visited the site I get a message “Maintenance mode is on Website will be available soon”
It looks like though the Plugins might not be on the latest version.
Can you verify The Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro are both on 3.9.1 and if not does upgrading to that resolve this?
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian,
Thanks for pointing out maintenance mode – that must have flicked back on when I disabled and re-initiated the other plugins (we have a maintenance mode plugin) when testing for The Event Calendar.
You should be able to access the site now.
I checked the plugin dates, and Pro was not up-to-date – it was still at version 3.8. Have updated and all is working well! Do you know why the plugin wasn’t giving notification to WordPress to update?
Thanks for your advice,

MemberNot sure why it is not notifying of an update. Do you have the license key in place and verified? Automatic Updates for Pro require the license key.
Also, when we update The Events Calendar, Pro is updated as well so that is something to look for.
If when we release the next version you do not get an update notice for Pro then please post here on the forum.
I am going to close this ticket as the original issue is resolved, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.
Thanks
