I just purchased the Facebook Importer, installed it and used the activation key for that plugin. The program says the activation key is invalid. And I am not able to import a Facebook event.
WordPress version is 4.6.1
Please advise.

September 15, 2016 at 12:10 pm #1164805TresParticipantI did have the wrong license key, and corrected that. However, I am still having the problem.
I pasted the page ID into the field on the Import tab on <FeedingTucson.org> and I get the error:
“Either the event with ID 1804528676430495 does not exist, is marked as private on Facebook or we couldn’t reach the Facebook API”1804528676430495 is taken from “https://www.facebook.com/events/1804528676430495/”, which is a public event.
There is a comment at the beginning of the Import page which says:
“Signing up for a Facebook App ID and Secret only takes a second. Visit https://developers.facebook.com/apps to create yours. Visit https://developers.facebook.com/docs/guides/canvas/ to learn more about Facebook App Ids and Secrets. You must enter a Facebook App ID and App Secret to continue importing events from Facebook.” But the link to “developers.facebook.com/apps” requires a signin and appears to be for YOU as a developer, not me as a user.Please advise.

Please reference the Facebook Importer’s New User Primer guide and also carefully read the “More Information” section at the bottom of the Facebook Importer sales page.
Then let me know if you don’t get things figured out.
