Newly Entered Recurring Event not showing in Map Views

A new recurring event that has been added via the Community Events add on is not displaying on any appropriate lists is Map view — I have checked and the venue is correctly shown on the embedded map for the event — and on the venue page –and the events display on list view and on the calendar (month) view — but it is not showing up on any map view page. (I wIll provide specifics in a followup post).

I have now been able to get this issue resolved, but only by looking up the longitude and latitute coordinates of the venue and entering them. I don’t know why this would be a problem, because address details without coordinate properly showed venue location on the inset map for the venue. I hope that his will not be a problem on other events. (I will keep an eye on this for the future).
