New user, not a web designer, can I do this?

I am a graphic designer (taught myself the Adobe Creative Suite)… I would like to design a website in WordPress for a live western show that will sell tickets for adults and children, with limited seating. Is Events Tickets Plus the right choice for me? Also, with the help of tutorials, can I do this myself?

I think you’ll definitely be able to do this. In order to use Event Tickets Plus, you’ll need to first also install Event Tickets, which is free. Take a look at this if you want to now. In order to handle payments, we currently support WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads.Read more about each option’s features and payment gateways.

http://wpshindig.com/event/events-tickets-demo/ is a demo site we run to show how the expected layout will appear. You’ll be able to do some customizations as needed to blend elements with your theme.
