New order not showing under event attendees

    Hi there I had an order placed for an event, and the order did go through and was paid. But for some odd reason that ticket is not showing up under the ticket orders for that event. The orders placed before and after this one were.
    Do you know what would have caused the order to not register under that event, and is there a way I can add it manually without having to charge them again or link to the woocommerce order.

    I can see you are using an older version of Event Tickets Plus 4.6.2.

    First, please make sure you are using the latest versions of our plugins. Remember you can always download our plugins from your downloads page > https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/

    We always suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out and make all plugins, theme and WordPress core updates without disrupting the live site.

    Do you still experience the same using the latest version of Event Tickets Plus 4.7.1?

    Hi Victor,

    I had updated the plugin recently, and see that you just released a new update. I have updated to the current version.
    I still do not see that order under attendees. Is there a way I can add it to the attendee’s list for that event that was purchased?

    Thanks for confirming that.

    If the attendee record was not generated, it could be a conflict somehow.

    Are the attendees not being generated for any ticket order or was it just one?

    Unfortunately, there is no built-in functionality to manually add attendees or link them to an order. However, manually creating an order for a ticket should also create the attendee records.

    Let me help you find the source of the problem.

    First, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.

    After that, try reproducing the issue a few times (you could try to manually create an order), so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can see if any problem from there.

    Also, I see you have tried the following:

    • Deactivated all other plugins? Yes
    • Switched to a default theme? Yes

    Did you happen to notice a difference when deactivating all other plugins or switching to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Seventeen? What happens if you try deactivating all plugins and switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme together? Do you notice a difference then?

    If you see no difference in those conditions, then we’ll need to do some deeper troubleshooting.
