    Hi,

We are running wp 4.5.2 and Event Calendar Pro 3.9.1 and Event Calendar 4.1.4. We upgraded our WP on Friday. Today we noticed that when we try to click on an event we get a 502 error. We deactivated Event Calendar Pro and we no longer get the 502 Error. Will you be sending an update on Event Calendar Pro for wp 4.5.2?

Thanks for any help you can give us.

    Lisa

    Hey Lisa,

Thanks for reaching out! You mention using Event Calendar Pro 3.9.1, which right off the bat is likely the source of the issues here.

If not, then it least has to be updated before any other support steps can be taken.

The current version of Events Calendar Pro is current 4.3.1—you can get the files for that version here any time ? https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/

    Cheers!

Thanks George that was the solution. We are not getting any kind of notification that there are updates to Event Calendar Pro. We are only getting the event calendar notification. Should I keep checking back here for updates?

    Hey Lisa,

Awesome, glad to hear about that progress with the 502 error and such. In regards to the update notifications, can you confirm that you have entered your Events Calendar Pro license key in the Events → Settings → Licenses section of your site’s wp-admin?

If you have not entered the key, please do so and your site should then receive notifications of updates. If the key is entered and shows as valid, and you still don’t get updates, then unfortunately your server could be blocking certain request calls like that; in which case your best courses of action are to check http://theeventscalendar.com/blog manually for updates, and then in the meantime contact your webhost and ask them to allow the license-check update requests from Events Calendar Pro to http://theeventscalendar.com

    I hope this information helps!
