New filters

Hi,
We need to insert some custom search filters in our Events Calendar and we wonder if the upcoming plugin (Filter Bar) will allow to do it.

Our site offers courses (events) to our clients and they need to search by sectors, people employed-unemployed, payment-free, subsidized, etc…

Otherwise, is there any way to add new search filters?

You can do it currently actually (I’ve seen a couple sites that do it), but its an extreme amount of customization to do so. The new filter bar will make it easier to add custom search filters, but you’ll still need a good worth of PHP knowledge to make it work.
