Need U.S. State in the Filters Bar

I can ad “State” as a custom field, but those don’t appear in the F.B. Since State is a variable within Venue, can it be referenced easily for a filter? I just ditched mycalendar and another events plugin for the Events Calendar Pro, hoping to gain this functionality.

Has anyone solved this? I could jump in, but i don’t even know what a “hook” is…

I’m not clear as to what you are trying to achieve here – can you give a step-by-step example illustrating your goals?

I would like to add U.S. State (from Events> Venue> Venue Information> State or Province:) to the Filters Bar.

or

Add the custom field of U.S. State (from Events> Add New> Custom Field) to the Filters Bar

Not sure if my last post clarified things, but a dropdown select for U.S. State above the monthly calendar is what i need. The state can be pulled from Events> Venue> Venue Information> State or Province

OK – that definitely sounds like a great idea but I’m afraid we can’t really help with custom development tasks of this nature. We do have some excellent tutorials though including this one which covers adding filters to the Tribe bar. Hopefully that gives you a starting point to build on.
