ParticipantHi there,
We are running a sports events site and must be able to have an option for not setting a time as events are fluid and only set up to the day before. As a result its important to be able to have an option on the events page to set a no time option. Timely has a simple tick box to achieve this. Is it possible to add this or could you provide the code so I can customise this for the client?
Many thanks
Peter

ParticipantThere was a way in importing a csv file without times set that would leave no time showing in the event but this no longer works. If this did work then it would be sorted.

ParticipantInteresting usecase. There really is no way to do that. It would seem that event without times are interpreted as all day events. Can you just check that box, then uncheck and specify a time when you have one? You could also add an additional field, something like “Time TBD”? Then set that field to show up until you specify a time. Would that work?

ParticipantHi Brook,
I already have Additional Event Fields with:
Home School
Hosting at Home
Hosting Away
Game Time
Time as set
Check with Coach
Time TBC
Time is To Be ConfirmedThe only issue is that this is way down the list so someone really needs to look whereas the time is very clear even from the quick description.
It looks like the all day option would work but will have to see how the client goes with it. A second Check-box under the All day Event for No Time Set option would be the best.
Regards
Peter

ParticipantThat makes sense. Glad you are finding additional fields useful, but obviously you want to be judicious. We are assessing all outstanding feature requests with each new release, and so your idea will continue to be evaluated periodically. For anyone else coming across this topic and liking the notion, please vote here. Thanks!
