    Hi,

    Having an issue with iCal importer where it imports events over and over, and now I have over 5000+ to delete.

    I tried deleting the entire plug-in, iCal and Calendar, but when i reinstalled the core all the events came back.

    I tried the fix PHP file to clear up the issues seen with the duplication from the last core upgrade, but it didn’t work.

    At this point I’d like to get a completely clean slate and try installing and configuring everything again, and go from there.

    How can I do this?

    Oh shoot, sorry about that, Christine! I’ve been in a similar situation and know it’s not fun to look at thousands of posts and wonder how to get rid of them.

    One way I’ve had success is using the Bulk Delete plugin. That will wipe out all posts from a custom post type, which is what events are.

    Will that work for you as well? Please let me know.

    Excellent! In fact, if the Bulk Edit option didn’t pan out, I was going to suggest Event Rocket as a next shot — but you’re on top of it. 🙂
