Need to Add Featured Images to Events List – Tutorial No Longer Works

Hello,

The tutorial you have for adding featured images to posts no longer works, at all. I tried the modification myself and then just copy and pasted the code you provide and neither work. It really seems like this should be the default view, because images are easy to remove with CSS, but difficult to put in for the average user. If not that, then a checkbox option in the settings.

What is the current way to add images to the list view?
