Need shortcode for full calendar view or editable page instead of template

Just bought Events Calendar Pro for use on two of my clients’ sites. Very surprised there is no shortcode to display the full calendar normally seen at http://www.examplesite.com/events or functionality to have the main events page as a regular, editable WordPress page.

The fact it’s necessary to rely on the shortcodes, which only have partial functionality, or hard-code custom templates w/PHP is a major usability issue. I don’t mind billing my clients the extra hours, and luckily they don’t either (they understand the situation) — but this is quite surprising.

Is there anything I’m missing here, and if not, when might these features be integrated? Thx.

The good news is that the full calendar shortcode is actually scheduled to be released in the first week of October (version 4.3) if all goes according to plan.

We totally understand where you are coming from and many of our awesome customers felt the same way you did, which is why we worked hard at finally being able to release this feature.
