MySQL Traffic is Very High after Install

Hello,
Since the launch of the calendar option on cabionline the mysql traffic is up over 400%. In the last 3+ days, we have seen 3GiB data requests, 88GiB Sent. On an hourly basis this is around 35 MiB, 1.0 GiB. On over 37 million queries.

Is this sort of traffic increase expected?

Hi Mike,

Sounds like a lot of traffic. Is your site getting hit a ton? Where are all the queries coming from? Do you have a lot of events? We’ll need some more information to be able to tell you anything more.
