My Events Page Integration

We have a dashboard page and that enables registered users to manage their job listings, business listings, etc…

Are there shortcodes available for the ‘My Events’ module to let our users administer all their event listings from our main dashboard as well?

Our dashboard is a simple WP page with shortcodes for each data listing type.

Howdy Hammer,

There is a community events shortcode, but it does not sound like it will do what you want. The edit my events pages does not appear inside the shortcode, it appears as a child page. It is kind of hard to explain.

Could you possible just add two links inside of a module? One to submit an event, and another to manage the users currents events? Would that work?

Thanks Brook for the reply. That’s too bad there isn’t a shortcode for it but I’m sure we’ll find a way to hard code it in there somehow or put our shortcodes in the my events page. We’d simply like to have one dashboard for the user instead of having separate admin screens for our city portal. If we can’t get it to work, it’s only $65 and can maybe use it on one of our other sites. Thanks!

For sure. I understand that desire. Unfortunately all the functionality/buttons/fields that goes into editting and adding events would be a bit hard to compress into your usual module sized box. It actually is spread out over a few pages in our default design. So, a shortcode will not really be possible I do not think.
