Mutli Day event over non consecutive days

Hi, we are using event calendar plus and event tickets plus. Our client has a three-day event that occurs non consecutive days.

For example the day occurs on Friday the 22nd of January, the second day is Friday the 29th on the third day is Friday, 5 February. So, to be precise this is one three-day event, spread over days that are not consecutive.

This is not really a recurring event, as the only purchase option is to purchase for all three days. can system cater for this? If not, Is there a workaround solution you would recommend?

Hi Colin, and thanks for reaching out!

I’m afraid that the calendar will treat each instance of that event as separate events. Multi-day events are designed to span the course of 2+ consecutive days.

I can’t think of a workaround for that other than to use the recurring event pattern. While not totally ideal, one positive result is that tickets do not support recurring events and any ticket purchased for any of those instances will count toward the parent event in the series rather than each event having it’s own ticket inventory.
