    Hi,

For ease of maintenance, I have a MultiSite development environment set up. It allows me to have WordPress and all my favorite themes and plugins in a common place instead of having multiple copies of WordPress on my hard drive. Once a site is built, I can export it as an independent site.

I just purchased TEC Pro for one site I am just starting, and after installing the plugin, I am not able to insert my license key into the network or individual site dashboards.

Am I not able to use TEC Pro in this environment, even if it is for only one site?

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out.

You are able to use a personal license in multisite and the plugin works without the license key entered.

Can you confirm that Pro is active on the site and activated only through the plugin page of that site and not network activated.

Also, if you active on the main install as a test does the license tab show on that site?

Let me know and we can go from here.

    Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply Brian.

Following your lead, I deactivated TEC Pro in the Network Dashboard and now it is available and activated as a plugin to the child site. Good news 🙂

When it was activated on the Network, there were 3 text links: Network DeActivate, Edit, and Delete. Now it is activated on the sub-site, there is only 1 text link: DeActivate. I have not seen a License tab/link anywhere.

BTW, there is a banner/message at the top of the sub-site’s plugins screen. It says “To begin using Events Calendar PRO, please install the latest version of The Events Calendar”, and has no closing function. I can live with it unless you have a fix to remove it.

I’ll begin to use TEC later today and I’m sure we’ll be chatting again.

    Thanks again,

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

To use pro you need to have The Events Calendar installed as well.

The core version of the Events Calendar found for free on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/

Please install that and single site active it on the site with Pro to remove this message: “To begin using Events Calendar PRO, please install the latest version of The Events Calendar”

Once active the license tab will be here:

Events > Settings > License Tab

If have any questions related to this place let me know.

If you have any new questions we ask you keep one question per thread if you can and we can help you out that way.

    Thanks
