Since the update, The Events Calendar plugin doesn’t seem to display EventBrite across multisite as well as it used to. We are constantly getting these notices to add the license key (http://screencast.com/t/MHSeUDbFa8z) even though we’ve added it network-wide as well as within each chapter using EventBrite.
Previously, the event pages used to show ticketing information and then take the user over to EB to complete the transaction, but now it shows nothing and the plugins are all updated (manually) with license keys entered: http://societyoffsp.org/greensboro/event/sfsp-november-membership-breakfast/
That event *is* supposed to have tickets and they no longer display: http://screencast.com/t/eFou9eLx7iW
Any ideas what’s going on?

Thanks for getting in touch with us!
I was trying to reproduce the issue you state but stumbled upon a different know bug which is “Multisite – Cannot load tribe-common error when saving a license”. Are you able to correctly save the license key at all? I’m able to save it but the error ‘cannot load tribe-common’ shows up after ‘Saving Changes’.
Regarding the tickets iframe, I was able to see it using the latest versions of the plugins (The Events Calendar and EventBrite tickets) with and without a valid key in the site. This can be caused by a different reason. Do you see it failing consistently for all events with EventBrite tickets?
Please let me know about it,
Best,

Thanks for your reply. I’m not sure what’s going on because my sites are getting errors that the license key isn’t valid: http://screencast.com/t/L9LXKD5iw1T2 But any time we go to settings, the correct (valid) license key is there.
For that particular one, I even see an EB ticketing section at the bottom of the live page: http://societyoffsp.org/monmouthocean/event/lunch-and-learn-vtc-supplemental-retirement-plans-for-executives-and-entrepreneurs/
Do you have any troubleshooting tips for these known and unknown issues?

The other thing we’re noticing is that one of our events isn’t showing because it’s listed as “private” in EventBrite. Is there any way we could still have it show via TEC on WordPress? It’s not an event that we want public to the EventBrite audience, but we would like for our own chapter’s audience to see it.
Thanks,
Monica (on behalf of Brian) 🙂October 31, 2016 at 10:13 pm #1185612NicoMemberThanks for following up Monica!
Regarding the license issue, Is the main site having the issue or are you experiencing this in a subsite?

The event must be public in order to display the tickets form. Maybe you can leave them as private an display a button in the WordPress event to get the tickets in the EventBrite page?
