Multiple Views on Home Page

Hi Everyone,
I’m new to the forum as well as to this plugin, just curious if anyone has been able to render multiple event calendar views on their home page, if it’s even possible, without redirecting to the event’s page/section.

Basically I’m trying to get upcoming events rendered with photo view (like pinterest style posts) integrated with the map view below it, as well as mini posts listed of recently added (similar to existing posts widget); each section without the search/filter bar.

I’m also wondering if the concept of “Featured Events” has been thought of for the Community Events plugin. The ability to flag community generated events as “featured” and essentially allow it to be it’s own feed/list of events; maybe the concept of “tags” in Community Events can work here (administrators privileges only to tags in Community Events)

Interesting stuff!

For a customization of that breadth we’d really need to leave it to you to forge a path forward, but we can certainly leave this thread open a while and see if other members of the community have any ideas to share.

Do note that some third party plugins like this one (not officially supported here) may be useful in easily building up additional lists of events – which you could embed in all kinds of places – based on whatever criteria you specify.
