Multiple tickets

Hi,

Is it possible for a user to be able to select how many tickets they wish to purchase before hitting purchase?
The work around at the moment is for the user to have to go to checkout and then adjust the amount but I would prefer for the user to have the option to select “x amount” of tickets and then hit purchase.
Is this possible?

I’m not sure I’m quite understanding – ordinarily, apart from being able to change the quantity on the cart page, they can choose however many tickets they want from the ticket form on the single event page.

Is there some other stage where you would like them to be able to change the quantity?

This may be because of the way I am using the plugin.
I have a website for a weekend of events and one of the pages is “tickets”
Here each ticketed event is listed with the purchase button added by using the EDD short code. This then literally just puts a purchase button next to my text and doesnt display an option to adjust how many tickets.

Is it possible to add that option using the plugin as described?

Oh I see.

Well, if you are using EDD shortcodes (remember that EDD is geared toward digital downloads first and foremost and so probably most of its users don’t need this) then you’re probably going to have to tweak that shortcode somehow or possibly build a new one.

I do appreciate there’s a degree of crossover here between EDD itself and EDD Tickets – but certainly if the issue is basically one with using EDD shortcodes on arbitrary posts and pages then it’s a situation where you’d probably have more success by approaching the EDD team for assistance (or reviewing their docs).
