Multiple featured images in month view

I followed this thread and was able to get multiple featured images for events on the same day to show up.

Display more than one featured image on a specific date in monthly view

The problem I’m having is that the information box that pops up blocks almost the entire image so it’s really difficult to click on the image. Is it possible to move the tooltip up a bit so it doesn’t block the image?
