We have a workshop that will be offered 4 times, each on a different day. Attendees only a go to one workshop – ie it is not a series but rather a single event.

Do I set it up as a recurring event or 4 different events. If it is the latter, is there a fast way to duplicate the event so I don’t have to key in all of the information 4 times?

    Thanks for your assistance!

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out! You can actually set it up either way:

If you go with a recurring event, you would need to create four separate tickets on the series, one for each day. Tickets on recurring events are currently added to the series as a whole, not as individual tickets for each day in the series.

If you do single events, you can use a plugin like Post Duplicator to quickly copy events, but this does not also copy the tickets. So, you would need to manually add a ticket on each event.

Unless you have multiple ticket types for each day (like “Adult”, “Child”, etc.), the quickest way is probably to use the recurring events and make sure to include the date in the name for each ticket so that users know which date they are buying it for.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics.
