ParticipantHello,
I upgrade to Pro because I saw you could create one event and add multiple follow-up dates. Now that I’m using it, I see, however, that it only allows you to do this is a pattern. I have online courses scheduled that follow multiple class sessions for one course, but they do not fall into an even pattern. I saw in one closed topic that this ability is coming “soon.” How soon? It’s really the only reason I upgrade, so I won’t need to cut and paste so much data and so many fields over and over. Thanks!October 10, 2014 at 9:00 am #800932Geoff
MemberHi there, Christopher! Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the forums. 🙂
I’m so sorry if the functionality of recurring events wasn’t totally clear. I can totally see how that would be confusing. We’ve definitely started the process for building free-form recurring posts, but I honestly do not have a specific timeframe for when it will be released.
One idea might be to use a third party plugin for post duplication (like this one, for example) that would allow you to clone events. I know that’s not exactly the same thing as what you’re looking for, but it could be a possibility to creating similar events in an uneven pattern.
I want to make sure you get what you pay for, so please feel free to email us at [email protected] with your original receipt if this doesn’t solve the issue and you’d prefer a refund.
Again, I’m sorry if there was some sort of miscommunication on our part. Please let me know if this helps answer your question.
Thanks,

ParticipantThank Geoff,
I’ll check out the Clone Post plug-ing, that may do the trick for now. I’m happy to stick with Pro, I think, knowing that the new updates are in the works. It will be so nice if we will eventually be able to pull up a small calendar or just type a string of dates and then those populate across the calendar with the same information. Thank for the great work the team is doing.
Thanks much for your quick reply!
