Multiple Calendars

Is it possible to create multiple calendars that have unique events for each or is it just one calendar?

Hi,

Thanks for the interest in our plugins.

We do not have a feature where you can show calendars on different pages with unique events.

However you can use the Event Categories to get event views (month, list, map, etc) of just those events in a category.

So the regular views for the calendars are usually at:

yoursite.com/events/

If you have a category of lettuce you have a category view at this url:

yoursite.com/events/category/lettuce/

The best way to test this out is with the Events Calendar found for free on WordPress.org:

Another question: Is it possible to add the Week (or any style) formatted calendar, let’s say, to a homepage? I remember reading that you don’t have shortcodes, so is there a widget option that would be able to do this?

I guess the bigger question is: can you add calendars to other pages rather than the dynamically generated ones you mentioned above?

Hi,

We do not have shortcodes for the main views such as month, list, week, map etc.

When we launch 3.10 we will have 4 shortcodes, which you can read about here:

Also, there is the Event Rocket Plugin an unofficial plugin maintained by some of our developers that the ability to show an event view (month, list, etc) on the home page.

That might get you closer to what you are looking for.
