Participanthello,
as a workaround, would it be possible to create a subdomain of my website that could have its own installation of WP/TECPro, and be linked from the main site? the downside is that the url would be calendar.mysite.com, but i think that is doable. thanks, judyNovember 2, 2015 at 8:57 pm #1021102Cliff
MemberHi Judy.
Yes, you can have a separate WordPress install (or a Multisite network) to create separate events calendars.
Another option is to use event categories as a way to organize different things on a single calendar, which would be easier to maintain.
I hope this information helps you make your decision.
Let me know if you need anything else.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
I’m interested in creating multiple calendars like Nicole but she’s much more advanced than me so I won’t be going the subdomain route. Regarding your comment: “Another option is to use event categories as a way to organize different things on a single calendar, which would be easier to maintain.”
Is there any way to create standalone buttons for the event categories so that it’s more prominent than the rest of the filters? Maybe it stands completely outside of the filter bar? Thanks.

MemberJanine,
Thank you for posting! In this forum we try to keep our threads focused on just one user’s problem. This ensures that we are addressing your specific problem instead of a general group one, and not possibly missing anything unique your situation.
To that end, would you mind opening up a new topic here about your issue? If you could please detail in your own words exactly what your problem is (instead of just linking here), that will go a long way toward helping you get this issue resolved as fast as possible. I hope you understand our reasoning here and do not mind this extra step, we have just found it serves our users best.
