Multiple Administrators

Hi. We want to offer multiple events on the same night, each with their own contact person, and for that contact person to receive updated attendee registration info as people sign up. Is that possible? Maybe there’s a feature that notifies both the main WP person on our staff, as well as an individual we choose, when people sign up? Basically, I want to save my team the headache of being info intermediaries, and empower the event leaders to see and contact registrants.

Hi Jesse,

Excellent question! The Events Calendar does indeed allow you to set an “organizer” for each event, but unfortunately, the calendar will not send any notifications to them.

Another idea would be to set the author of the event post to someone and then allow them to log in, download the attendee lists for their events and then use those to communicate with their registrants directly.
