First of all, I know this subject has been beat to death on here, but I searched through the whole forum and cannot find anything that actually works for me. I am using the plugin to display hours and we are open until midnight on the weekends. The problem is that when someone visits the website on Sunday, it is showing Saturday’s hours (because they end at midnight) and generating tons of complaints from customers.
This is what I am using to display the hours on the front page: http://pastebin.com/wCRQU1yc
The only solution I have found going through the forum is this: http://pastebin.com/QT4yDRV7
And pasting this into the code does not work.
Is there anything I can add to my code that would say if the start date does not equal today’s date, don’t show it?
I have tried for days altering the code above but nothing is working. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!April 9, 2013 at 8:03 am #45349BarryMemberHi Tony,
I just want to ensure I’m picturing the problem correctly as there have been various posts about this (as you pointed out) but some subtle though important differences between them.
Can you direct me to a URL or URLs that illustrate the issue?
April 9, 2013 at 8:25 am #45353tonyParticipantThanks for responding. I created a test event for April 8 (yesterday) that ends at midnight, but it is showing up on my list for today. The code pasted above shows up on the front page http://www.golfland.com/mesa (lower left corner) and you can also see the problem at http://www.golfland.com/mesa/plan-your-visit/hours/
The front page is the biggest problem because yesterdays event shows up under April 9th.
I am looking for a way to force the multiday cutoff for my list because from my understanding it only works on gridview….April 9, 2013 at 9:31 am #45366BarryMemberOK, so for the front page how about modifying the snippet slightly – try this slightly modified code instead – does that help at all?
April 9, 2013 at 9:56 am #45372tonyParticipantYes, it does exactly what I needed! Thank you for your help, this is definitely the best supported plugin on wordpress! Now that I have this working, I can upgrade my license and get our other locations upgraded!
