Fridolin
ParticipantHi,
I added an exhibition to the events calendar starting on 9th August and running through 6th September. It has been entered as multi-day and all-day.
When I search this event in google, i.e. searching for “zwangsarbeiter weinberg”, I find the event with the dates shifted one day early. The google search result says that it lasts 8th August through 5th September.
Also when I export this event to iCal the file contains the same wrong dates. The export to google calendar seems to be ok.
Best regards,
Fridolin.July 13, 2015 at 9:01 am #985915Josh
ParticipantHey Fridolin,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
As an initial step, can you verify that the timezone settings set within your WordPress dashboard under the Settings > General (https://cloudup.com/cXYAt9w-WsQ) is set to the appropriate timezone for your location?
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Fridolin,
Thanks for following up with us!
We have a new bug that was just brought up that I believe may be associated with the issues that you’re experiencing. To see if this is the same issue could you:
- Let me know what timezone you are currently using?
- Take a look at your “End of day cutoff” setting within your Event Settings > General tab. It should currently be set to 12:00 am. If you change this to 2:00am or later, does the issue persist?
Thanks!

Participant1. Time zone is “Berlin”.
UTC-Zeit ist 16.07.2015 9:45:51 Deine lokale Zeit ist 16.07.2015 11:45:51
Diese Zeitzone ist zurzeit in der Sommerzeit.
Standard Zeit beginnt um: 25. Oktober 2015 3:00.2. I set the end-of-day cutoff to 2:00 a.m. as you suggested and now the iCal export file shows the correct date. Time will show if this also positively affects the google search result. Thank you very much for telling me this work around and hopefully this is the same issue that you mentioned which is to be fixed in the next update.
