I posted a question 2 days ago and the topic title was: Multi-Date Events. My question was answered by Geoff B. He told me my solution was to make use of recurring events. However, I just read this on your events ticket plus page:

Please note that at this time, Event Tickets Plus will NOT support tickets for recurring events. Please keep this in mind before making your purchase.

So now I am confused. He gave me a solution to my problem, but after reading that it appears the solution will not actually work. Can someone please elaborate?

    Thanks,

    Tony

Good afternoon Tony and welcome back!

    Thank you for writing back.

Sorry for the confusion. Let me try to clarify.
Event Tickets Plus does not work (for now) if you are trying to sell separate pools of tickets for each of these recurring events.

However, it works great if you want all of these events to share the same pool of tickets.

Furthermore, there is an imperfect workaround available if you actually wanted to have separate pools of tickets for each recurring event: you would have to break each event from the series of recurring event (after initial creation). This way, they all act as separate events.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
