Moving Events from one site to another

Hi,

I have a live site and am working on a new version in development. Is it possible to export the current events and import them into the development server? I tried the export in WordPress and it generates an XML file that won’t import on the development site.

The live site is: http://eustismemoriallibrary.org/
The development site is: http://www.eustis.dev.novarelibrary.com/

Hi. The WordPress XML export can be imported to any other WordPress site.

Please follow along https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-wordpress-export-tools-to-migrate-events-content/ for additional information to make sure you’re not missing any steps, such as making sure you have The Events Calendar activated before running the import (because the WP Importer will only import posts for post types already registered at the new site).
