Move events to past events with delay

Is it possible to move an event to the past events with a delay of a few hours or a day? I set to the most of my events only an intake time and if costumers take a look at the event immediately before the event, it is already disappeared from upcoming events.

Unfortunately, there is no built-in functionality to do that. However, you could achieve that with some custom coding.
