Deb
ParticipantHi friends,
Great plugin! I was wondering what the easiest way to move the eventbrite ticket purchase button “above the fold” on event pages, or at least above the event meta boxes.Thank you!

ParticipantDeb,
Thanks for reaching out! Look for a file called single.php in ‘wp-content/plugins/’ and find the following code on line 101:Just perform a template override on single.php and copy that code up above the event details to move the ticket form to the top. Just let me know if you need further help with this.
Thanks!

ParticipantDeb,
I just wanted to follow back up with you and see if you were able to get this working. Just let me know if that got you sorted, and I’ll close out the thread. Thanks!April 25, 2013 at 10:14 pm #46904ookere
ParticipantHi Casey. I followed your directions. Thanks! I’m having some slight problems with my page now. It has moved my side bar widget to the bottom of the page. How do I fix this. I also have a lot of space in between the eventbrite ticketing and the event description. How do I reduce this space? I have a picture link that describes what I’m trying to do. My page url is http://realizeyourpeak.com/event/how-to-network-and-sell-yourself-to-land-a-job/

ParticipantOokere,
Was the sidebar displaying correctly before? The reason I’m asking, is because I’m seeing a lot of HTML validation errors with your theme: Validation ResultsTry removing the template override temporarily, just so we can make sure that’s not the issue.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Casey,
The sidebar was displaying correctly before. As soon as I tried your recommendation, the sidebar moved to the bottom of the page. I have removed the template override. So that you can see how my page looks now.http://realizeyourpeak.com/event/how-to-network-and-sell-yourself-to-land-a-job/

ParticipantObi,
Try using this code as your single.php in your template override and see if your sidebar still has issues: http://pastebin.com/58qvn0z4April 26, 2013 at 4:51 pm #46985ookere
ParticipantI would like to modify the look of the event page so that the eventbrite ticket bar is right under the event title and the portion pictured in the link below is removed. Can you help me with this?

ParticipantI’m sorry. Thanks for the quick reply. I sent my message after you sent the code for the single.php. Can you please send another with changes where the eventbrite ticket bar is right under the event title and the portion pictured in the link below is removed ?

ParticipantI tried the code that you suggested earlier. It did work on my page without the sidebar moving. I’m not sure why, but there is a large space in between the ticket bar and the event details. Is there a way to reduce that space?

ParticipantTry adding this code to your theme’s stylesheet: http://pastebin.com/cdNwGPRT
Let me know if that does the trick!
