ParticipantHey Guys
I installed The Events Calendar Pro and translated the PO file and set my wp config file to (af_ZA)
But it is not working. WordPress is still not available in Afrikaans, is this the reason why it is not working?
The free version of Events Calendar translated perfectly.
Please help me!
I love this calendar and really need it to work in Afrikaans.

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having.
What is the name of the po file you create for Pro? And in what directory did you put it?
Is the Afrikaans translation working on the site for the free version and just not Pro?
Let me know and we can go from there.
Thanks

ParticipantHey Brian
Thanks for getting back to me. My PO is named events-calendar-pro.af.ZA
It is in die lang file in the Events Calendar Pro plugin file.
And it is only the Pro that did not translate.

MemberIf you rename the file to this:
events-calendar-pro-af_ZA.po
Does that work?

ParticipantNo, unfortunately not.

MemberHow strange, that should be working.
I am going to see about getting our translation manager to look at this, for now can you confirm that the po and mo files are in this directory and named as such:
events-calendar-pro/lang/tribe-events-calendar-pro-af_ZA.po
events-calendar-pro/lang/tribe-events-calendar-pro-af_ZA.mo
Thanks

MemberOk Apologize for the long running thread, but we are back from the Team Trip and can do proper testing with normal internet access.
I did not get an email, but tested on site changing the language to Afrikaans and Pro translated for me.
If you you deactivate, delete, and reinstall Pro does that fix the issue?
As it appears the default Afrikaans language files that come with Pro are working.
Thanks
