    Hi there,

We are having an issue where our cache plugin WP Rocket and The Events Calendar are conflicting with one another.

    https://pdev.provideocoalition.com/events/2017-01/?tribe-bar-date=2017-01&bb2_screener_=1489788850+199.48.121.227

If you hover over the events, you will notice that the image is broken. WP Rocket CDN feature automatically replaces the site’s hostname with a link. In this case, https://cdn.provideocoalition.com.

As you can see if you Inspect the broken image, you will see that the href=”” link is showing: https://cdn.provideocoalition.com/https://cdn.provideocoalition.com/app/uploads/bison-Mellish.jpg

    How can we resolve this?

    Hi Randy

Unfortunately, I’m not able to see your difficulty. From my view, images seem to be working fine on the month view of the calendar and on single listings.

Can you point me toward the location where you are still seeing a broken image?

CDNs can be a huge help, but also complicated to get configured initially.

    Thanks,
    Courtney 🙂

    Courtney,

Actually, I just turned off the cache plugin for my dev site, which is why you don’t see the issue.

Here is the live site with the issue: https://www.provideocoalition.com/events/month/?bb2_screener_=1490030837+199.48.121.227+199.48.121.227

    Thanks Randy

Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with WP Rocket. I do see that if I manually fix the link (by omitting the duplicate domain part of the url) using Chrome Dev tools, that the thumbnails display properly. Aside from checking in with WP Rocket’s support, there are a few options you can still try.

Can you see if there is a way to set up exemptions/exceptions for certain pages, such as /events?

You could also try to regenerate your thumbnails using https://wordpress.org/plugins-wp/regenerate-thumbnails/.

I wish I had a more definitive solution to offer you.

Keep me posted on how this works out.

    Thanks,
    Courtney
