Month view slow to load

Installed TEC Pro and have put in about 20 events which recur monthly for 6 months. After getting those events in the calendar load for the month is taking about 45-60 seconds. I have installed wp3 cache and that didn’t seem to help at all. Not sure if there are special setting recommended. I took a look on the forums and could not find anything specifically. Everything else is working great but to have it take that long is very tough. Any recommendations? Welcome back 🙂

Speed can be caused by numerous factors, which is unfortunately out of the scope we are able to provide on our support forums. I really wish I could be of more assistance – but with so many diverse website environments, it would be impossible for us to cover all those bases.

We have added an option found under Events > Settings > Display that may improve the speed when viewing events in Calendar view (see screenshot below).

I recommend running your site through GTmetrix and see if there is anything that stands out in regards to slow page load times. That information may help narrow your problem down.
