Month view missing from Android & iPhone

I’m using Events Calendar Pro, v3.4.1.
Theme: WooTheme’s Canvas, v5.3.0
WordPress: v3.8.1

On Android & iPhone, the full Month view starts to load, then it immediately switches over to List View. Even when I tap on Month, under View As…, it briefly shows Month view and then immediately switches to List View.

Then I made all the settings be only Month-oriented:
Settings > Display > Enable event views: I only have Month ticked.
Settings > Display > Default view: Month

No matter what I do, I can’t get the Month view on Android & iPhone. Why does it keep switching to List view?

After deactivating all plugins (except for Events Calendar Free & Pro) and switching to WP 2011 theme: the Month view does come up on iPhone, BUT it does NOT fit! It’s not responsive.

All-in-all: I only get List View using WooThemes Canvas theme; and a non-responsive Month View when using WordPress 2011 theme.

I would love to have a Month view on iPhone with my Canvas theme. How can I get this?

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. I was able to view Month view in 2011 on Android as you described (screenshot), so unfortunately it looks like the issue might be related to the previous theme you were using.

Our current release of the plugin is not currently fully responsive, but we are actively working on a responsive version and hope to have it released soon. I know that this does not help you at the moment, but I want to assure you that we’re definitely aware of the limitations of the plugin on mobile.

As a workaround for now, you could set your calendar to display ‘List View’ by default so that mobile users will at least get a well formatted view of your events when browsing on mobile.
