MemberHi mousepotato,
Thanks for getting in touch. I apologize for the wait- we are a bit behind our usual 24-hour support window right now, but we’re bringing more folks onto the team so we can get everyone helped as soon as possible. I appreciate your patience.
To start troubleshooting, can you tell me what version of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO you’re using currently? Also, what theme are you using? At first glance I’m suspecting it’s an issue with your theme. Have you tried using other stylesheets or templates (available on the Display tab under Events –> Settings)? That would be a good place to start to see if you can get the calendar appearing correctly.
Cheers,

MemberWanted to check in with you, mousepotato, to see if you’d had a chance to review Leah’s note. Anything else we can do?

ParticipantHi Leah & Rob:
I am using the bonanza theme – http://ufothemes.com/preview/bonanza/ and I am using The Events Calendar PRO
The Events Calendar PRO,Version 3.0.5I have tried using other stylesheets. It is still an issue.

MemberHi mousepotato:
When you say trying other stylesheets are you referring to an option offered by your theme – and if so can you instead try switching to a completely different default theme such as Twenty Twelve and see if the problem still persists then?
It could also be helpful to see the problem for ourselves if you could facilitate that, as it might be possible to resolve this with some CSS, but a screenshot alone (though it’s a great way to get a feel for the basic problem – thanks for including it 🙂 ) doesn’t offer that information.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Barry, you were right. I switched to 20 thirteen and the calendar displayed beautifully. What can I do to fix this?
September 3, 2013 at 8:42 am #64237Barry
MemberSo my guess is we need to introduce some extra CSS rules, however I can’t be certain without being able to view your calendar directly (since it’s not possible to accurately judge which rules are already in place from a screenshot alone).
Unfortunately, right now I can’t seem to do so – are you able to facilitate access?

MemberThanks! I don’t want to play with your site’s settings etc unless absolutely necessary though, so can I ask you to go ahead and set things up with your theme of choice so that I can view the calendar (with the problem showing – whereas currently with the Twenty Thirteen theme I cannot see it) and I’ll then take a look and see what CSS changes might help.
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks for being so responsive Barry. I made the switch to the theme of choice. The issue can be seen on this page.

MemberThanks!
So can you take a flip through our Themer’s Guide and try setting up a custom tribe-events.css file and add this line to it (you could also try adding it to the bottom of your theme stylesheet or any other suitable location you theme makes available for custom CSS):
.tribe-events-calendar td > div > h3 { float: none }Does that help here?

ParticipantAm I editing views or creating and completely new stylsheet?
September 3, 2013 at 10:51 am #64303mousepotato
ParticipantI added it to my style sheet and it fixed the problem so, I am moving on.
Thanks a lot!September 3, 2013 at 10:55 am #64306Barry
MemberYes – adding it to your stylesheet (or creating a new tribe-events.css stylesheet) is the correct course of action. Glad you’re all sorted!
