ParticipantIs there any way to get a standard “next month” and “previous month” selector via an HTML link? I.E. as some of the older versions had?
I love the latest version, but some users are having issues with the new popup month/date selector.

ParticipantHey Will,
You should be able to use the following CSS selectors without issue:
.tribe-events-nav-previous
.tribe-events-nav-next
both of which are contained within:
.tribe-events-sub-nav
Is this not the case for you? If so, what are your specific issues in more detail, and what is the custom CSS you’ve written thus far for the prev/next links?
If you do not have these links showing up on your site, then I’m curious: do you have any custom template files for The Events Calendar? If so, make a backup of them and then temporarily remove them from your theme, and see how things behave.
Thanks,

ParticipantD’oh! I must have hidden that accidentally at some point while tinkering. I was thinking it got removed from the new version, but apparently I hid it and forgot 🙂
A followup, though — is there an option somewhere to position the next/previous month navigation in the Tribe Header instead of the Tribe footer? I’m trying to avoid manually editing the tribe files as that can cause issues when updates are released.
Thanks!

ParticipantNice! Thanks for the update regarding that (and for your patience with my delayed reply over the three-day weekend here in the US!).
As for your followup question here:
is there an option somewhere to position the next/previous month navigation in the Tribe Header instead of the Tribe footer?
There is unfortunately not an option to do this 🙁 It would, at this time, require template changes as described in our Themer’s Guide. Just in case you haven’t seen that guide already, it’s this one: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Sorry to disappoint there! Let me know if you have further questions on this matter or anything else I can help with.
