ParticipantHi team,
On the Month View demo https://wpshindig.com/events/month/, under “Events In” I can filter/pick a month and a year, not a specific date.
I would like to have this filter/month selector on the Map View https://wpshindig.com/events/map/ instead of the “Date”. Is there any way for me to do this?
Please advise. Thank you!

MemberHi again. We call that the Tribe Bar.
This isn’t possible because of the custom querying logic built into each view.
You could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
I really need it soon so waiting for the idea to get enough votes, then get implemented is not really an option for me.
I would greatly appreciate it if you can give us some pointers, or links to existing documentations on how to customize this.
As a reference for others with the same idea here’s the link to vote on UserVoice: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/12922032-change-datepicker-in-map-view-to-display-months.
Thanks.

MemberI’m glad you created that idea, and thanks for linking to it here.
I looked into it before posting my initial reply. It’s just not easily possible at this time.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

MemberI had a developer take a look and this might actually be possible simply by overriding the Datepicker.
Although we wouldn’t provide the how-to, you could use jQuery UI Datepicker’s minViewMode option:
- http://jsfiddle.net/brunodd/k5zookLt/20/
You could reference/fork https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/custom-datepicker-start-date/ to implement this.
Other than this, we’ll leave this open for voting in UserVoice.
