Month and Week views are empty of events, but other views show events

Our beautiful AWESOME community calendar shows no events in Month and Week views. The remaining views (List, Map, Photo) still display correctly.

We are updated to the latest version of The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro.

The Month view used to show up to 3 events for each day, with an AWESOME tooltip effect. Now it shows a single dot under each day, as though the underlying html were

We tried switching the WordPress theme (WeeklyNews) to TwentySeventeen: same problem. TwentySixteen: same problem. TwentyFifteen: same problem. TwentyFourteen: same problem.

This is killing us because we were insanely happy with The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro.

Wait for it… as a last ditch effort, I deactivated WP Super Cache, and suddenly events are again displaying in Month and Week views. So… we can cache, or we can display events. What gives?

Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry you’re running into these issues, but nice job testing for conflicts and determining the source!

It sounds like a conflict with your caching plugin is causing the calendar to get stuck in mobile view. Our plugins generally play nicely with caching plugins, but we do see this issue pop up occasionally.

Can you try disabling the css/javascript minification in the plugin and see if that helps?

I removed minify for JS/CSS after re-activating W3 Supercache. Then I checked each of the views for our AWESOME community calendar…

…and it is not only still AWESOME, it is also faster.
