Monetize site with paid community event "upgraded" listings?

I’m looking to create an event directory using your Calendar Pro, Facebook and Community Events plugins. I’d love the option to have a free/paid community event listing where I could sell upgraded listings as a way to monetize the site. GeoCraft by IncThemes makes an interesting WP directory theme to sell business listings. I’d like to do something similar focusing on events. Are you aware of any solutions?

We unfortunately do not have any add-ons at this time that add a “premium listing” feature to community events. 🙁
