    I would like to add some copy to my submission form.

    I read this page on how to modify the event submission form and it isn’t helping me figure things out.

    I already have a /community directory within my theme.

    I tried making adjustments to event-form.php with no success. In the past these alterations showed up just fine, but now they aren’t appearing on the page or in code view so I’m assuming this is not the right file to modify anymore.

    I also read instructions for modifying the functions.php file with some action code, but inserting your recommended code gave me a blank page so I deleted the code and reloaded the file.

    Any help you can offer is much appreciated – I’ve exhausted my programmer budget for the year (already!) with a plugins conflict that cause a site lockout so I’m needing to troubleshoot this on my own.

    Hi,

    I can help you get this customization on the right track.

    In your theme the files should be here:

    /yourtheme/tribe-events/community/

    That directory is still the correct one and I tested to make sure.

    You can find all the Community Templates here:

    the-events-calendar-community-events\views\community\
