Modifications Not Working

OK. I’ve played with this for days now and I’m ready to give up to use another event plug-in. I’ve made the modifications as per tutorials and put them in an events folder in the theme directory. Nothing changes. I’m not an advanced programmer but I usually can figure things out. I’m pretty stumped with this and can’t use the plug-in as it now appears. I’ve checked the google map to appear and it doesn’t. I’ve tried to change background on widget it doesn’t change. I’ve tried to modify the template and it doesn’t show up to use. The font sizes are way too big and the columns are too narrow. No changes are being picked up from the events folder I made.

I purchased pro and right how I’m extremely disappointed. I understand the limited support but maybe someone else can help me. Thanks!

Hi Donna, I can’t really do too much with this just by looking at the WP admin, I need FTP access to look at how you’ve got the overrides setup. Just to clarify, there should be a folder titled ‘events’ (without quotes and in lowercase) in your active themes folder and then any events related template files in there that you’d like to override… If that’s how you have it setup, please send me the FTP info so I can take a look myself.
