Does your calendar have a way for regular wordpress users who are not admins to add events to a calendar.

Is it possible to show the calendar with events that are near certain zip codes?

To allow users who are not admins to add events to a calendar you’ll want to take a look at our Community Events plugin. https://theeventscalendar.com/shop/wordpress-community-events/ There are lots of options to control what gets added, so you’ll likely find something that will work for your situation. As far as showing events that are near certain zip codes, you’ll want to check out the Map View of the Events Calendar PRO plugin. https://theeventscalendar.com/shop/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/ Folks can search for events near specific locations.
