    The PHP error has stopped. I guess my copying directly from this thread solved that. Anyway to bump the list after a new post is added or at least not show that rather ugly message?

    You can redirect users back to the event list by using the plugin here → Redirect to different URL after event submission. If you want to show a message about the just posted event, then you can add a query string to the URL and then show a message via filter. Makes sense?
