I saw a discussion between Christina (Truth Seeker) and Andy Fragen (Medicine Man) about this subject on May 17th and cannot duplicate the results of Christina.

The issue is with mobile phone viewing of the events calendar, on the iPhone the calendar gets cut off at Wednesday and you can’t pinch/zoom at all. Currently the events.css is located here: (wp-content/themes/Avada/events/community/events.css) I attempted to add the @media code they were suggesting but to no avail. How do I achieve the same results?

You need to add the @media CSS into THEME/tribe-events/tribe-events.css

In your case create a tribe-events folder inside the wp-content/themes/Avada/tribe-events/tribe-events.css and put the code in there.

Thanks, that helps although the folder where it needs to be for me is avada/events/events.css

The view is better in landscape (all 7 days), when in portrait the event names force the calendar to be too wide.

gurban308, as you’re using The Events Calendar 3.x and not 2.x you’ll need to change the override folder and CSS file from ‘/events/events.css’ to ‘/tribe-events/tribe-events.css’

You’re current override CSS is not loading.

Seems to be working better now, still landscape is required to see the full calendar on the iPhone. So do all folders and files need to be named (tribe-xxx) in the folder I have the community folder which contains event-meta.php

    ie. Avada/tribe-events/tribe-community/tribe-event-meta.php

gurban308, you only need to add the CSS you wish to override to the tribe-events.css file.

Try adding the CSS from here. You’ve got a lot of other @media CSS there.
