Little Britain United Church
ParticipantI apologise – but I have searched the forum. I do not seem to have the View As, search bar and such at the top of my calendar. I have also written the Theme Designer, as they recommend your Calendar. My site is currently under construction so I can send you Tech Access or send a snapshot of the issue. Any help would be most appreciated a sI prep to launch the site soon.

ParticipantUpdate: When I revert to Twenty-Fifteen the bar is there. I hope this helps?

ParticipantUpdate #2: The Template Designer has tweaked the CSS – so the bar is now visible. Unfortunately the Search Field is non-responsive. Hope this continues to be helpful?

ParticipantHey Richard,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I apologize for the inconveniences you’ve experienced so far with the that top bar area of our plugin. Unfortunately, with theme customizations that change the way our calendar displays, we are limited in the support that we’re able to provide in modifying or fixing these customizations.
You could provide access information (as long as they aren’t site login credentials) so I can take a look in order to possibly dissect a solution however the best bet is to continue to reach out to the theme developer for help in modifying these issues.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Richard,
Thanks for following up.
However, per policy we are unable to accept login credentials for sites. I’ve removed that information from the previous thread for your security.
If you have a way of locking down the site without requiring logging in to view, I’d be happy to take a look at the site then.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Richard,
I would be able to see the issue directly as well as inspect the underlying code. I could use that to help get you pointed in the right direction for an adjustment.
Thanks!

MemberHi Richard,
Thanks for the follow-up! Josh is out this week so I will be taking over this thread for him.
I’ve reviewed the issue, and now I see the search bar is indeed visible in your site. However the calendar’s title is overlapping the bar, so it’s visible but you can’t ‘interact’ with it.
A minor adjustment in the CSS of site will fix this. At line 13 of your theme’s stylesheet you’ll find the following:
#tribe-events-bar, #tribe-events-footer, .tribe-events-cal-links {
display: block;
// add the line below to fix the overlap
z-index: 10;
}
Please forward this to your developer and let me know if it solves the issue,
Best,

ParticipantHi Nico – cool! Thanks! I will forward as per your advice! I have another emergent issue: should I submit a new ticket or continue here?
