ParticipantHi Tribe,
I just purchased and installed the community events plugin and upon testing it out, it appears that there might be some styles and functionality that is missing.1) The first red flag was that the date picker pop up looks pretty messed up.
2) The second indicator was that the “display” link on the “my events list” page doesn’t do anything. Instead, all the display options are listed out as an un-ordered list.
Please take a look and let me know if you have any idea what might be missing.
The submit a new event page

You can use my login to check things out.

ParticipantI’m having a similar issue, which seems due to HTTP vs HTTPS. I set up an Events Calendar implementation on a dev site (which uses HTTP), which looks & works great. I just migrated the implementation to the live/public site (which used HTTPS for all WP admin), and the events admin screens on the live/HTTPS site look odd (and is missing config options) compared to the dev/HTTP implementation. I checked the console on the live/HTTPS site, and found over a dozen Mixed Content errors (“This request has been blocked”).
Does the Events Calendar work on HTTPS? Is a workaround needed?
Thanks!

ModeratorHello, gentlemen đŸ™‚
Mike, if you wouldn’t mind, please create a separate thread and we’d be happy to help troubleshoot your issue. It will help keep both of your conflicts from getting more complicated and results in a quicker resolution.
Jeffrey, I removed the username and password provided in your initial post. If you wouldn’t mind, please refrain from posting admin credentials to the support forums in the future. I am not really sure why your site is having these display issues. I went and checked my test install and everything on my site looks as it should.
Have you visited Events > Settings > Display and tried different options found there? Do thing still look odd with only our plugins active and the Twenty Fifteen and Twenty Sixteen themes? Do you have any custom template overrides in [your-theme]/tribe-events folder?
I look forward to your response and thanks to the both of you for reaching out. Have a great weekend. Cheers!

ParticipantHi Hunter,
Yes, I’ve tried all that.
I think mike might be on to something. I deployed my site a staging server (not HTTPS) and it looks like things are working more as they should.
See the difference here:
Staging: http://marinhealth.staging.wpengine.com/events/community/list
Live: https://marinhealth.com/events/community/listStaging: http://marinhealth.staging.wpengine.com/events/community/add
Live: https://marinhealth.com/events/community/addCould there be something in the plugin that is not allowing some assets to be loaded with the HTTPS?
Also, I only added the login info in my original post because it had this note :
“Any information shared in the following fields is considered private and will not be shared with anyone. The only people seeing it will be forum moderators and the devs at Modern Tribe as they attempt to diagnose your issue.”
I must’ve been confused and thought that note referred to the whole post. sorry about that. Thank you for removing it for me.

ModeratorHey Jeffrey,
Thank you for the response. Just a hunch, but can you visit My Account > License Keys and update the site URL to reflect the change from http to https? Let me know if that makes any difference and we’ll continue investigating if necessary.
Thanks again and have a great Monday afternoon. Cheers đŸ™‚

ParticipantHi Hunter,
That sounds logical. However, i can’t seem to find any way to change or alter the url in any way.
I tried disconnecting it, then it went away.. Took me some time to figure out i needed to enter the key again in my site.. Now it still says the root domain but no https…
how can i add https?
Thanks!

ModeratorHello,
I truly appreciate your patience while I’ve been hard at work on your issue. I can confirm at this time after talking with other support team members there is a bug related to the problems you’re experiencing. We have a report logged and I’ve attached this forum thread for the developers to review while working on improvements.
I don’t have a concrete date when we’ll be shipping a fix in a maintenance release, but rest assured we’re already hard at work. Watch our Release Notes and your wp-admin for info about what’s been fixed/added in the next release.
Thank you again for your patience and please let me know if you have any questions. I’ll mark this thread as ‘Pending Fix’ for the time being. Have a great Friday. Cheers!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!

ParticipantHello!
I wanted to inform you that we’ve just published a series of updates to our products that fixes a number of issues.
These updates should include fixes for the problems reported here, where our plugins’ scripts and stylesheets were being served over HTTP when they should’ve been served over HTTPS, or vice versa.
