    hi All
i have been using a program called xenu to scan my site for dead url links.
i have noticed that many of the dead links found are RSS feeds on the event/organizer/venue links
    for example:
    http://www.sitename.com/venue/venuename/feed
    http://www.sitename.com/event/eventname/feed
    http://www.sitename.com/organizer/organizername/feed
all are being dectected as being links on my site but are actually dead (404)
has anyone come across this before ?
I am also using Yoast’s SEO plugin if that makes a diffence

I can certainly see links like you’ve described in the markup of your single event page (within the <head> element). However, I don’t believe they are being generated by our plugin – so taking things back to a basic state with no other plugins and only a default theme running would be one way to assess this.

thanks barry! you definitely pointed me in the right direction.. Turns out Yoast’s SEO plugin is the culprit 🙂 .. I have checked the ‘clean the ‘ options within his plugin and all is good again.
