I just purchaes Events Calendar Pro for testing purposes. In principle it´s a great solution. But for me 2 things are missing. I found both in the feature idea list, marked as planned a long time ago:
1) Reminder Emails for X Days Before Event
1.1) Or could this be realized with Woo2) add waitlist capability
and of coures I voted for it. 🙂
Is there a timeline for this features?And is there a possibility to a a series of events if the event lasts longer than a day?

Yeah, I’m totally sorry that none of those are included features at this time.
There is a WooCommerce extension called Follow Ups you might be interested in checking out. It allows you to create custom automated messages for customers. However, the only catch is that it bases its actions on the ticket order instead of the event date, so it’s not quite the same as being able to remind someone about an event based on the event date, but rather the date they purchased the ticket.
I know that we are interested in developing both features but, to be honest, it’s going to take time for them both to be fully implemented, even when they officially do get included on our roadmap. I wish I had a concrete date to timeline to share, but that’s tough to estimate given that we are currently working on other new features and that the waitlist request is not even on the roadmap.
